Niles had one of the saddest backgrounds amongst the 90 Day Fiance: Before The 90 Days cast members. He came from Mobile, Alabama, and faced difficulties in school. He has autism spectrum disorder, making it hard for him to make friends. But everything changed when he met Matlida online. The two got into a long-distance relationship for a couple of years before Niles decided to fly to Ghana to meet Matilda for the first time. However, it seems he didn’t expect the difference in living with his partner in real life.
Matilda even shocked fans after seeing Niles’ autism as a “curse.” But despite her controversial comments, Matilda continues to receive supporters for showing sincere love for Niles.

However, it seems they’re going to hit a bump in the eighth episode as Niles tells Matilda that he wants to postpone their wedding.
