Did Robyn Brown give a petty dig after Mykelti Brown Padron gave birth on Sunday, September 29th’s episode of Sister Wives? She joined the mama-to-be as well as Christine Brown Woolley for the big delivery. Though they seemed amicable, something Robyn said was not received well. Keep reading for more details on the situation.
Robyn Brown’s Petty Dig After Mykelti Gave Birth
Mykelti Brown Padron and Robyn Brown have been very close since she first entered the family. Robyn made Mykelti feel seen at a time when she was struggling with her identity. That relationship and bond lasted even after Christine Brown Woolley left the plural family. Robyn was on Zoom when Mykelti gave birth to her first child, Avalon and they knew she would be there for the birth of her twin boys. Though it was not ideal for Christine who was not on the best terms with Robyn, she only cared about her daughter and her comfort.
Robyn drove in from Flagstaff to Utah and picked up Mykelti’s mother-in-law on the way. She was ready for whatever she had to do and everyone needed to be. Mykelti was unhappy as she was having a C-section but wanted healthy babies. Only Tony could be in the operating room so Robyn, Christine, and some family were left in the waiting room. After they were discharged, Robyn stayed with the Padrons for a few days and then was going to swap with Christine.
While Robyn Brown was explaining how the change of hands was going to happen, she said:
- “I’m gonna be the one, kind of, helping the most. And I’m sure Christine will, kind of, step in after I leave, and I’ll hand the baton over to her kind of a thing, ya know”
This infuriated Sister Wives fans so much that a Reddit thread was started. They could not believe that Robyn would even say something like this especially since Christine is there 100% of the time. She always tends to Mykelti’s needs and her now three children. So, that was very hurtful and an unnecessary slight.
Tone-Deaf Robyn
Sister Wives fans could not get over Robyn Brown and her tone-deaf ways. It was noted that she has a nanny so what does she know about being hands-on? They also pointed out how Christine Brown Woolley never interfered. Rather, she let Mykelti figure out who Robyn was on her own:
-
Christine played the long game by not reacting. She let Mykelti find out the true Robyn for herself rather than telling her.
- Says the woman who has a fully time nanny with grown a** kids.
- “I’m helping the most.” I could not believe she actually said that to the camera. And she plays so selfless and sensitive to the other family members.
- I think Robyn is one of those “likes babies, not so solid with later stages” people
In the end, fans wanted to know if Robyn had been back to see the babies. At this point, Mykelti is done with Robyn and Kody despite once being very close. She says it has something to do with Garrison Brown’s funeral. However, she is not elaborating.
