Portland (AP) – title contender Los Angeles Lakers has to do without the next star player in the North American professional league NBA.
After the injury to LeBron James, Anthony Davis, who was substituted on Saturday evening (local time) with stomach problems early in the game against the Portland Trail Blazers (90: 105), is also missing. The US broadcaster ESPN, citing a club spokesman, reports that Davis’ disease has no corona-related causes. Trainer Frank Vogel spoke of a “small gastrointestinal virus” in the case of the 28-year-old.
The Lakers have only won five of the first ten games of the season and have fallen significantly behind. James is currently struggling with an abdominal muscle injury and is likely to miss more NBA games.
