Phase 3 Round 6 withdrawal re-opens on Monday 27 September 2021
FNPF members who are on reduced hours and reduced wage rate can apply for Phase 3 Round 6 withdrawal through their employer from Monday, 27 September 2021 if they have not applied yet.
Members must have a minimum General Account balance of $563 to qualify for this withdrawal. Government top up is NOT applicable.

This withdrawal relief closes on Friday, 1 October 2021.
If you were assisted under the Government-funded Unemployment benefit, the total amount that you will receive for the FNPF COVID-19 Unemployment relief will be less $360. For example, if the approved amount is $1,000, then you will receive a total of $640.
- Who can apply?
Members who are affected by reduced hours and/or reduced wage rates due to the economic impact of COVID-19.
- Where can I lodge my application?
You must apply through your employer. Member must discuss & agree with his/her employer on which category they qualify for.
Note: Members who accessed Phase 3 Round 5 withdrawal will have to reapply if they are still on reduced hours / reduced wage rate.

The member:
- must have a minimum General Account balance of $563 in order to access between $528 and $1,848 depending on their reduced hours or wage rate arrangement.
- is not currently accessing Government unemployment assistance or any other FNPF COVID-19 relief assistance.
- must have previous month’s contributions paid or the contribution schedule to be uploaded.
For instance, if the member is applying for Phase 3 Round 6 in August, then their contributions should be paid up to July 2021 or the contribution schedule must be uploaded. Similarly, if the member is applying for Phase 3 Round 6 in September, then their contributions should be paid up to August 2021 or the contribution schedule must be uploaded and so forth.
- What documents will I need to submit with my application?
No documents are required.
- How will I receive my funds?
Payment will be paid out in the following preferred mode:
- Direct Transfer to Bank Account
- M-PAISA
- Post Fiji Bill Pay
- If I am on reduced hours and reduced wage rate then can I apply for both?
Your employer will decide on the applicable category depending on your working situation. Also, if you have applied for Government Assistance then you cannot apply for the FNPF COVID-19 relief withdrawal and vice versa.
- How much will I receive in Phase 3 Round 6?
You must have a minimum General Account balance of $563 in order to qualify for this assistance – $35 will be locked or maintained for Special Death Benefit.

You will then be able to access a minimum of $528 and the maximum amount being stated below as payable for 6 months, according to your reduced hours or reduced wage rate arrangement – and depending on your General Account balance.
For Example, if you are on reduced hours up to ‘4 or more days per week’, you are entitled to $528 to $1,848. If your General Account balance is $600, then you will be paid $565 ($35 is locked for Special Death Benefit). If your General Account balance is $2,000, you will be paid $1,848.

Your funds will be paid out in two (2) equal installments of the approved amount as below:

Change in final payment date (for current applicants)
All members that received their first payment on 25 Aug, 8 Sept and 22 Sept will receive their second payment a month earlier on 26 October, 2021.
NOTE: The Fund will not amend/cancel/terminate any application mid-way through the Phase. You must ensure that you submit the correct information.
