What health and safety protocols are in place at Recreation and Culture facilities?
We encourage all visitors to arrive early to allow adequate time to provide your enhanced vaccine certificate, health screening and contact tracing requirements. Masks are required in all indoor public spaces except when actively engaging in athletic or fitness activities.
The enhanced vaccine certificate with a QR code is the only form of proof of full COVID-19 vaccination (or medical exemption) accepted. Download your enhanced vaccine certificate by visiting the province’s How to get your COVID-19 vaccine certificate page. To print a copy for free, visit any of our Oakville Library locations.
Access to facilities and programs may be impacted by evolving health and safety protocols related to COVID-19. The town will follow all requirements and recommendations issued by Halton Public Health and any applicable provincial regulations. The town may use discretion to impose its own requirements. You will be notified if your registration is impacted by any changes.
We encourage you to review the town’s detailed Recreation FAQs for a complete list of program offerings, current health and safety protocols in place, and to assess comfort levels before visiting a town facility or pre-booking an activity.
