Vaccine Information
The Government of Alberta’s Vaccine Program continues to be well underway.
Everyone 5+ can now get vaccinated. Children 5 to 11 must book online or by calling 811 as walk-ins are not available at this time.

Albertans 18+ are now eligible for a third dose if it has been 5 months since their second dose.
COVID-19 vaccines help prevent you from getting infected and protect you from getting severely sick if you do get COVID-19. All vaccines are safe, effective and save lives.

Face Covering Information
The Government of Alberta requires face coverings to be worn in all indoor public places, on public transit and in workplaces. Starting February 14, 2022, the face covering requirement will be removed for children 12 and under in all settings and children and youth in schools for any age.
Municipal Face Covering Bylaw
On June 22, 2021 Council voted to repeal the Face Covering Bylaw (No. 20/024), meaning this municipal bylaw is no longer in effect, even if there are 50 or more COVID-19 cases in the region.
However, face coverings continue to be mandatory under the province-wide requirement. Face coverings are mandatory in:
- All indoor public places
- Public transit, including ride shares, taxis, motor coaches and shuttles
- Workplaces
