A couple of months ago, Darcey Silva and Georgi Rusev got married after their show was cancelled by TLC and wasn’t renewed for a fifth season. Darcey decided to have a private, small ceremony instead of a big wedding, since it’s hard to fund a big wedding without reality TV money. People magazine exclusively released pictures from the reality TV couple’s wedding, and as expected, the photos were extremely filtered and edited to make Darcey look her best.
Unsurprisingly, fans managed to find Darcey’s unfiltered wedding pictures, and many of them were left horrified by what they saw. The number 11 holds special value to the Silva twins because of their brother Michael Silva, who was born on May 11, 1971, and died on July 11, 1998. The twins named their business House of 11 to honor their deceased brother, and Darcey and Georgi decided to get married on November 11, 2023, for the same reason.
World-renowned photographer Fidil Bisha professionally took and edited pictures from the wedding. Darcey and Georgi confessed to People magazine that they felt blessed and grateful for the photographer’s work, finding his pictures remarkable and memories to cherish for a lifetime.
Fans, tired of seeing Darcey’s heavily photoshopped pictures, wanted to see the real deal. Eventually, they found what they were looking for. Reddit user Cross Blan Chic posted a set of unfiltered pictures of Darcey from the wedding, captioning it, “It took a month to airbrush the photos.” Reddit is considered a nightmare for most of the 90 Day Fiancé cast members because it allows more freedom of speech than Facebook and Instagram, enabling people to write horrible things without worrying about usual social media censorship.
One Redditor commented, “The poster girl for body dysmorphia. Such a shame she destroyed her face,” while another added, “Picture 2 is scary, like out of a horror flick. I have no idea how she makes Picture 2 look like Picture 3. Lots of practice, I guess.” Unfortunately, not a single comment under the Reddit post wished the reality TV couple a long and happy marriage, which is understandable as many doubt the marriage will last.
