The wedding plans for Brooke and Ridge have been postponed indefinitely, leaving fans wondering what the deal is. It seems the ancient Forrester-Logan rivalry has resurfaced, much to Steffy’s advantage.
Steffy has always had issues with Brooke and Hope Logan (Annika Noelle), but their animosity has worsened recently. Steffy could escalate things out of control if Brooke finally accepts Ridge’s offer to co-lead Forrester Creations alongside Steffy. This could lead Steffy to fight back on a personal level, attempting to persuade Ridge to dump Brooke permanently. It wouldn’t be the first time Steffy has opposed Brooke and Ridge’s relationship. Steffy might go as far as setting Brooke up to cheat on Ridge with another man, possibly an old flame, or making it appear that Brooke deceived Ridge even if she didn’t succumb to temptation.
Steffy can be quite creative and devious when she wants to be, so she may take drastic efforts to completely remove Brooke from the picture. Perhaps Steffy believes that if she can derail Ridge and Brooke’s wedding arrangements, she can push Brooke out of Forrester Creations. If Steffy does attempt to separate Brooke and Ridge, there is no certainty that her plan will succeed. Nevertheless, B&B hasn’t been in a hurry to remarry Ridge and Brooke, so Steffy may have a good opportunity to call off the wedding. The rivalry between Brooke and Steffy could become considerably worse soon, adding to the turmoil.
The Kiss That Wasn’t: Hope and Finn’s Imaginary Affair
The truth about the kiss between Finn (Tanner Novlan) and Hope Logan recently came to light. It turns out that the shocking kiss was entirely in Hope’s head. Hope had previously fantasized about someone who was officially off-limits long before she and Thomas began their ill-fated romance. Hope envisioned what it would be like to kiss her main designer.
The kiss was far from unexpected. The day before, Hope had a faraway look on her face as Finn held her hand and used pressure points to turn her on and heal her migraine. This face is familiar to Thomas/Hope shippers, and she should be grateful Steffy didn’t notice it. This raises questions about whether this is just another example of Hope’s ongoing sexual awakening or if something more is going on.

Katie’s Suspicion and the DNA Test Drama
Katie Logan (Heather Tom) is suspicious of Poppy (Jill Remez), who has been crossing the line with Finn yet again. Last week, Lee (Naomi Matsuda) forbid Bill (Don Diamont), Luna (Lisa Yamada), and Poppy from taking a DNA test, insisting on performing one as a medical practitioner. Lee disclosed that Bill was the father but also warned Katie that her sister is manipulative and conniving, with a pattern of attracting rich men.
Next week, when Bill and Poppy make up for lost time, Katie says, “Well, look at you, a whole new family.” The DNA test and the unexpected new family seem too wonderful to be true, and it appears Katie isn’t buying what Poppy is selling.
The Battle Over Hope for the Future
Steffy attempted to have the Hope for the Future line shut down due to low figures but was surprised when Ridge chose to give the line another quarter, trusting that Hope and her team would be able to achieve something incredible. Ridge also invited Brooke to serve as co-CEO of Forrester Creations.
Next week, Steffy asks Brooke if she finds it unusual that Hope spends so much time with Finn. Steffy suspects Hope and Finn have connected over Sheila’s emergence and their parents’ wedding. Hope has made it plain that Steffy has no authority to compel Finn to keep away from his real mother. After Steffy attempted to close her line, Hope declared that they were at war again. While Steffy complained to Liam about Hope’s negative effect on Finn, Finn was giving Hope another one of his medical massages to relieve her headache, which resulted in a kiss.
Ridge’s Role and Family Conflict
According to the Bold and the Beautiful spoilers, Ridge could take over as chief designer of Hope for the Future, a brand his son Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) formerly worked for. Ridge claimed he wanted to return to creating and has previously indicated that he is not interested in the business aspect of fashion. Ridge does not enjoy debating or making decisions; Steffy enjoys calling the shots and is on a power trip these days.
Ridge and Steffy had an argument regarding Hope for the Future. Although Ridge is aware that the line has not been performing well, he believes it is too early to pull the plug. Ridge understands that Hope and Thomas worked hard to make the line a success, and he believes Hope still has a good team even after Thomas left the organization.
