Hollywood’s biggest night has finally arrived. To ensure that you don’t miss out on any of the excitement, we’ve compiled a complete guide on how to watch the Oscars 2022 ceremony.
This year’s show, which is officially known as the 94th Academy Awards, honors what the Academy of Motions Pictures Arts and Sciences consider to be the best films released between March 1 and December 31, 2021. The 2022 Oscars are being produced this year by film producer Will Packer, most known for his work on shows and movies like Being Mary Jane, Straight Outta Compton, Girls Trip, and Little starring Issa Rae and Marsai Martin.
Last year’s show was downsized to stay in alignment with COVID-19 health and safety protocols, and was moved to Downtown Los Angeles’ Union Station. This year, the 2022 Oscars — themed “Movie Lovers Unite” — will return to their usual venue at the Dolby Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard, and is expecting around 2,500 attendees.
If the 2022 awards season so far has been any indication, this year’s Academy Awards will be a very tight race. (You can check out the full list of nominees here.)
