Britney Adel Allison, known on the show as Adel, has been sentenced in a drug trafficking case. This comes years after Allison was arrested in Louisiana in August 2022 for heroin and cocaine trafficking. She was also charged with money laundering and unlawful use of communication facilities.
Allison was part of a large drug trafficking ring led by her boyfriend, Francisco Palma. According to court documents, Palma purchased kilograms of drugs, and Allison assisted him with trafficking. She traveled with him to Mexico City, helped handle large amounts of money, and disguised the true source of their drug proceeds.
This revelation has prompted fans to recall instances in 90 Day Fiancé when Jovi Dufren warned his wife, Yara, about her friend Adel. In Season 7, Episode 1, Jovi expressed his dislike for Yara’s friends, especially Adel, saying they influenced her negatively by staying out all night. This led to tension between the couple, but now it appears Jovi’s concerns were valid.
In later episodes, Adel and another friend, Symphony, were seen criticizing Jovi, calling him controlling and unattractive. Despite the drama, Yara and Jovi continue to appear on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After, airing every Sunday on TLC.
