On Sister Wives Season 19, Tony and Mykelti welcome their newborn twins. The birth caused tension between Christine and Robyn, but both women put their feelings aside so Mykelti could have a safe and stress-free experience.
During this week’s episode, Christine gathered her children to discuss her new boyfriend, David. Overall, they agreed they liked David, even though they thought their relationship was moving very quickly.
However, Tony made the conversation wildly awkward when he said David reminded him of Kody. Clearly, that was not Christine’s intent when choosing a new partner.
After the exchange, viewers took to X to share their thoughts. Some believed that Tony had built up resentment toward Christine and that explained his rude comment.
“Tony is clearly holding onto some spite from Christine being hesitant about him before he married Mykelti. He is so passive aggressive #SisterWives” one X user wrote on the platform while watching Sunday night’s new episode.

Christine Receives Support From Her Children
Even though Tony compared Christine’s new boyfriend to her ex-husband, everyone else agreed that David seemed like the perfect match for her. And as Sister Wives fans know, David Woolley and Christine Brown did go on to marry in October 2023. The happy couple just celebrated their first wedding anniversary together.
If Tony’s comments did get under Christine’s skin, she didn’t let it impact her decision to marry David.
