Sister Wives star Meri Brown recently opened up about her life, discussing the years she spent with Kody Brown. Does she regret staying with him for so long? TLC fans gave her a difficult time for hanging around like a spare part for a long time. Read on to find out her take on it.
Meri Brown Opens Up About Life Post Kody Brown
A few days ago, the TLC star and her bestie, Jenn Sullivan, went on the Sarah Fraser Show podcast and opened up about plenty of things. One of the saddest topics was Garrison Brown, who passed away. Talking about the sadness of that, Kody Brown’s former first wife also noted that it brought the family together in some ways. But, that’s Meri. She often tries to take the best from life and push away the negatives.
Another positive that Meri Brown took from life is the surprising fact that Sister Wives still continues on TLC. Even the people who take sides against the various wives make her think sweet thoughts. She likes that the TLC fan base seems to have favorites. Not all of them love Meri, but that’s fine with her. In a way, the show still brings people together. Was she as positive about Kody? Scroll on to find out.
Sister Wives Star Reflects On Wasted Years
On the podcast, the TLC star discussed other subjects like her child, Leon, and her new business, “Worthy Up.” But, she mentioned family relationships as well. And, she talked about Kody Brown quite a lot. Talking about the long time she hung around hoping for a different outcome, she said, in part:
I would’ve always wondered. Maybe there might have been a chance…I’m a little bit mixed on it, sometimes. If I’m in more of a negative headspace, for lack of a better term, right? Like if I’m feeling like that, I’m like, ‘Gosh, dang it. Why couldn’t we just figure this out a long time ago?’ I could’ve dated in my 40s rather than dated in my 50s. You know what I mean?
Still, Meri Brown managed a positive spin on that as well, saying., “I really think about it, and it’s like, wait a second. What did I learn through the process?” The Sister Wives star added, “How confident am I in where I am right now because of the process? You know what I mean? I don’t have any regrets of where I am now and leaving when I left.”
