A new year full of possibilities is dawning as 2021 comes to a close.
New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day fall on a Friday and Saturday this time around.
There are, as always, holiday closures and reduced hours, plus COVID-19 restrictions, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t still opportunities to get out and enjoy Toronto.
Movie theatres are open throughout the city. Here’s what else is open and closed on Dec. 31 and Jan. 1. Hours are for both days unless otherwise noted. With New Year’s Day falling on a Saturday, keep in mind that some businesses and services may be closed on the following Monday, Jan. 3. Remember to check and follow all COVID-19 regulations when heading out, including wearing a mask and physical distancing.
