According to E! News, in the next episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 8, Liz is seen leaving Ed’s house in Arkansas after packing the rest of her belongings. She’s accompanied by her mother, Patty, which Ed doesn’t appreciate, leading to a major argument between the couple.

When Ed tries to brush off Liz’s response by saying, “Well, that’s just hearsay,” Liz firmly replies, “You don’t talk to women that way, period.” But Ed won’t back down and continues, “Well, your mom wasn’t being a woman.” Then as Ed is about to continue, Liz cuts him off and says, “Stop, just stop.” While Ed asks Liz to “change” for a better future, it turns out he was the one who needed to make changes in their relationship. He didn’t treat Liz with the respect she deserved and even pressured her to lose weight.

The latest encounter between Ed and Liz reveals that he isn’t yet prepared to mature and reflect on his mistakes.

Ed continues to believe that he couldn’t marry Liz because she was the problem, but he fails to recognize that she became defensive in the relationship because he never made her feel secure and loved. In an episode of 90 Day: The Last Resort, Ed admitted his immaturity and expressed a desire to improve himself for their relationship. He even made promises to Liz, but it appears that those promises may have been forgotten once the season ended.

Even though Liz is understandably disappointed that things didn’t work out with Ed, she should consider it a positive development. He was single for a long time before getting together with Liz, and maybe that’s why he’s struggling to be a good partner. It’s tough to see that he won’t own up to his mistakes and keeps blaming Liz for their issues. He’s got some soul-searching to do if he wants to be a better person. Hopefully, the 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 8 cast member will see where he went wrong and offer Liz a genuine apology.
