Big Update! 90 DF Star Omar Albakour Makes Major Announcement After Trying To Become US Citizen

Omar Albakour from the “90 Day Fiancé” franchise became an American citizen in June 2024. He debuted on “90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days” Season 3 with his American wife, Avery Mills, whom he met on a Muslim dating app. Avery shocked many viewers by converting from Christianity to Islam to be with Omar. In February 2018, Avery traveled to Lebanon to meet Omar for the first time, and they married a few days later.

Five years after their marriage, Omar achieved his dream of becoming a US citizen. Avery recently announced the news by sharing a video titled “Come with Us for Omar to Become a US Citizen.” During their drive to the interview, Avery revealed that Omar needed to pass a citizenship test, which he did successfully. Despite the tension of the day, Omar lightened the mood by teasing Avery, asking, “Do I still get deported?”

Omar and Avery’s journey to the American dream has been inspiring. Omar is currently enrolled in a dental program at Rutgers University in New Jersey. Fans are celebrating Omar’s victory, believing he truly deserves to be an American citizen. Omar is highly popular among “90 Day Fiancé” viewers because he worked hard to gain admission to Rutgers University and begin his journey to become a dentist.

Now that Omar has obtained US citizenship, he is excited to build a future with Avery in the United States. The couple has already purchased their first home in South Jersey. Omar’s new citizenship is his biggest achievement yet. Avery’s excitement is understandable, as she sacrificed her American lifestyle to support Omar. Instead of pushing him to move to her hometown, she adopted his culture by traveling to Syria. Omar’s dedication to his profession and his successful citizenship test reflect his commitment and determination.
